Read This! I love it!

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes".
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, " I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things in life. Your family, your children, your health, your beliefs, your friends, and your favorite passions - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car.
The sand is everything else, the small stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the garbage disposal.
Take care of the golf balls first; the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

So cool!

Georgie showed me, well she repinned it on Pinterest, this really awesome idea. You get a jar and you fill it with fun, exciting and happy things that happened to you throughout the year. Then on New Years Eve you open them up and read about all the great things that happened. I absolutely love this idea and will be starting this as soon as I can find a jar.

Speak your mind!

Sometimes I think life would be so much easier if people just said what they are thinking. Instead, people just keep their thoughts to themselves. Just think, you wouldn't have to waste countless thoughts wondering if he likes you, or if they are mad at you, or trying to keep your frustrations in. Well, maybe I wouldn't want complete honesty from everyone but a little more would be nice. Maybe this isn't really about everyone else. This is more about me (isn't it always). Sometimes I wish I could say what I am really feeling but I don't. I keep it to myself and let it forever pick away at me.

PS. This blog post is all over the place and who knows what I am talking about!

“Too many people grow up. That’s the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up. They forget. They don’t remember what it’s like to be 12 years old. They patronise, they treat children as inferiors. Well I won’t do that.”

My life feels like a disorganized mess! I'm physically and mentally exhausted and school has barely started. I feel like I have zero time and when I do I have time, I just procrastinate, because that's what I do best. Sometimes I wish life would slow down for two seconds so I can catch my breath. However if I had all the time in the world I would be complaining about being bored. Maybe I just like to find things to complain about.

Grey's Anatomy, you did it!

Guys, I finally cried while watching a TV show or movie. This has never happened in my life and now it finally has. I think it is because I was able to picture myself in that situation and it really freaked me out. I could picture what this girl was going through and how difficult it would be. I don't want to give to much away in case some of you haven't seen it so that is all I will say about it.

Here we go again!

Back to reality tomorrow! This three week break seemed to go by way to fast and did not seem like much of a break. I'm kinda nervous to start school again tomorrow! I was just getting used to my classes and now they are completely new again!
